Job Details :
The positions we are looking to fill are three Production staffs and one Leading Hand. Preferably the candidates should have completed their Tertiary education in mechanical or industrial course. These positions also suit someone with engineering background or are confident to learn and operate large equipment including high pressure vessels, separators, decanters etc.
The successful candidates should possess the following (preferably):
Competent English
Has basic knowledge and application of WH & S; Environmental Controls and Quality Assurance
Perform general labouring and cleaning duties
Work under supervision
Undertake structured on-the-job training
Undertake training in the process area
Operate Processing equipment
Able to follow detailed instructions and documented operational procedures
Works in a team environment and/or under routine supervision
Possesses sound interpersonal and communication skills
Competent in operation of licensed equipment
Undertake duties in a safe and responsible manner
Possess basic hygiene knowledge
May perform work requiring Minimal supervision either individually or in a team environment
Responsible for implementation of maintenance program for defined area
A J Bush & Sons (Manufactures) Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian family company. The Bush family has been trading in the meat industry since 1909.
A J Bush & Sons supply retail and wholesale meat, produce meat smallgoods and own and operate a large chain of butcher shops in NSW. The group also own and operate a stock treatment works at Yanco NSW and a rendering plant both at Riverstone NSW and at Beaudesert Queensland.
The Riverstone rendering plant has been providing an essential service to the meat industry since 1953. The protein meals and tallow converted from by-products are supplied to a wide range of national and international end-users.
